Other Activities

Other Activities Winter
Olang/Valdaora is the ideal starting-point for a wide variety of winter sport activities. Besides skiing, there are two snowparks for snowboarder, well-prepared courses for cross-country skiers, and marked trails (from “easy” to “challenging”) for hikers and snowshoe hikers. But snowshoe hiking isn’t the only way to experience the magnificent landscapes of South Tyrol. Tobogganing, ice-skating rinks, horse-drawn sleighs, night-time skiing, and moonlight tobogganing round out the available activities. And in between, there are plenty of quaint villages, restaurants, and Alpine huts where you can stop in for refreshments. In the Pusteria Valley, the whole family can enjoy a winter vacation of superlatives.

Christmas Markets

Christmas Markets

The five main original Christmas Markets of South Tyrol attract a large number of visitors from all over in Christmas time. Within only little time you can visit the famous markets in Brunico, Bressanone, Vipiteno, Bolzano and Merano. Various attractions, Christmas music all over, the flavour of Christmas bakery in the air and a glass of hot mulled wine… a solemn atmosphere characterizes the five original Christmas Markets.
